Safari holidays have long been extremely popular, but increasingly today as we become ever more aware of both the rich diversity of life on Earth, and its perilous position on the brink of calamity as a result of global warming and environmental damage, more of us are taking the opportunity to experience for ourselves the magnificent creatures which roam and hunt the plains of Africa.

Words can never capture the feeling of utter awe as you witness tens of thousands of wildebeest ploughing their way across the mighty open plains, or to meet a pride of lions in the flesh. From elephants to zebras, tigers to rhinos, hippos to lions – these are the creatures we all know and love, and very little compares to the feeling of being part of a much richer tapestry than we ever imagine in our daily lives.
